Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Lorelei received a
B.A. in Occupational Therapy from USC in 1993, a B.A. in
Communications from Pepperdine University
in 1986, and her 2-year Yoga Therapy certificate from Loyola Marymount University in 2007. Lorelei’s experience in Occupational Therapy includes: pediatrics, certification in Sensory Integration, as well as working in rehabilitation, psychiatrics, acute care, and skilled nursing settings. She also has several years of marketing and public relations experience. Lorelei was a founding board member of Chance To Dance (a nonprofit providing movement for healing and wellness for people of all walks of life). She later became the organization’s director of development and marketing and was the lead yoga instructor. She has spoken at several venues on the healing aspects of movement, using a blend of yoga and OT, including the national conference for the American Dance Therapy Association. She works for Therapy In Action, a pediatric clinic in Tarzana, provides in-home therapeutic services and teaches yoga.
Lorelei is blessed to be the mother of two children, Anna Leah and Daniel.
